Joash is an Exercise Physiologist who completed his studies at Deakin University. With a background in personal training, he brings a practical, people-centred approach to exercise interventions.
Joash has experience working with a wide range of chronic diseases, injuries and disabilities. His philosophy is simple: everyone is unique, with their own life stories and experiences, and clinical exercise interventions should reflect that. He believes exercise should be personalised to each individual’s needs, goals and lifestyle, helping people feel confident and capable in their movement and their bodies. If you’re looking for personalised and specialised exercise support, Joash is the guy for you.
Particular areas include:
- Advanced exercises for late stage rehab as well as general Strength & Conditioning.
- Exercise management for Diabetes, Osteoporosis, various cardiovascular conditions.
- Neurological conditions such as Parkinsons and Multiple Sclerosis.
Outside of work, you’ll often find Joash at the gym, playing social volleyball or spending time with his partner doing puzzles and learning to cook. He brings the same curiosity and enthusiasm to his work, always looking for ways to learn, connect and help people enjoy the benefits of movement.
