Where are we located?
We are on Warrigal Road, sandwiched by the suburbs of Ashburton, Chadstone, Glen Iris , Burwood , Mt Waverley and East Malvern five minutes from Chadstone shopping Centre. Restore Movement was formerly known as Lifecare Ashburton Physiotherapy from 2001-2011.
We had 10 years experience working in a large Medical Centre [Ashwood Medical Group] which has given us the scope to look after the very young to the very “grown up”. Our communication with Specialists in other fields of Orthopaedics , Rheumatology ,Exercise Physiology, Personal Training, Dietetics and Psychology is embedded in our MISSION “To listen, plan and provide the most suitable treatment format for each individual’s needs”
We are members of the APA “Move well Stay well”, Sports Medicine Australia, Sports Physiotherapy Association. We are a Multidisciplinary Practice of Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Nutrition and Remedial Massage. All our Physiotherapists have Post Graduate qualifications and experience ranging from suburban sports coverage to AFL and Professional Cricket, Hospital work to Medical Centres.
Ergonomic Advice. Matthew Chan and Steve Sandor, Physiotherapist can advise you on your home or work Ergonomics-desks, tables, couches, cupboards, clothes dryer so that injuries or accidents can be avoided.
This year has seen our Physiotherapists enjoy 6 in house sessions on Pilates, spinal management,Podiatry and Radiology. All part of keeping our team well informed and at cutting edge.

Standing at work is helpful. Sitting is ok as long as it is in only half hour stints and broken up by walking or stretching or simply moving. Sitting is made worse by:
1. Poor fitting chairs
2. Sitting and leaning to the side
3. Sitting and leaning forwards
4. Sitting and coughing
5. Sitting and sneezing
Moving more at work and home is healthy. Even tiny amounts accumulate over a week to help your health.
